Platinum's Vanquish for Japan this winter
Bayonetta dev's next for PS3 and 360.
PlatinumGames' new game Vanquish will be released this winter in Japan. Director Shinji Mikami has also confirmed development for both PS3 and 360.
Speaking to Famitsu (read out loud by NeoGAF), Mikami explained that Vanquish differs from normal shooters by being third-person, fast and filled with robo-baddies. The message: this is not Halo - although you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise after watching the first Vanquish video
.
Eurogamer whizzed off to Japan recently to visit the Bayonetta developer and learn more about new game Vanquish. Our write-up will be published any day now. Keep those eyes peeled.

Or maybe SEGA learned a lesson and forces Platinum Games to develop both versions.

Crap framerate & lacklustre textures all fixed then? Or is it still just the load times that've been fixed?
PS3 version needs to be coded to it's strengths, not the 360's. The game must be developed in tandem and must not be ported later!

Not compared to the 360 version. Sad but true.

I have the PS3 version of Bayonetta and it's horrible. Sure, they fixed the load times, but games like that need a silky frame rate to play as intended. Game seemed overrated to me anyway, DMC4 was better.

No it wasn't, DMC4 wasn't even as good as 3.

Heh no chance. Not sure about the PS3 version, but the 360 game was easily the best of its genre so far.
