PixelJunk Shooter out in Japan this year
Q-Games mentions December release.
Q-Games' upcoming PlayStation Network release PixelJunk Shooter will go on sale in Japan this December, according to founder Dylan Cuthbert.
That's according to one of his many Tweets in the run-up to this week's Tokyo Game Show (thanks Joystiq).
PixelJunk Shooter - known by the codename PixelJunk 1-4 when we got our first hands-on this April - sees you piloting a yellow capsule through 2D caverns and doing a bit of grappling to rescue little waving men.
You'll have to watch out for enemies, rock-falls and lava, with a big emphasis on using water to cool your craft and lava to solve problems, and frequently the two in combination.

Looks like a modern day Galaxy Force 2 with some fluid dynamics thrown in.
That was one of the best games of all time IMO, and sure other Amiga Power readers will remember it fondly too
So, Japan December... when it gonna come here?
