Pinball FX to get Street Fighter II table News

Xbox 360 News by Ellie Gibson

6 November, 2008

A Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix-themed table will soon be available for Pinball FX.

The Xbox Live Arcade title, you may recall, was released last year, and Dan thought it was rather good.

So did Capcom, according to a post on its blog.

They decided to team up with Pinball FX creators Zen Studios to produce the new Street Fighter table. It "makes nifty use of the art, sounds and music" created for HD Remix, apparently.

The Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix table will be available for download via Xbox Live from 12th November. As a spokesperson told us previously, your actual Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix will be out on both Xbox 360 and PS3 later this month.

Sweet that'll give me an excuse to revisit Pinball FX, haven't played it in a while.

Sweet. Pinball FX is the only LIVE game I've downloaded content for which I've paid for. The engine is fab, and I love the new tables that have been introduced since the iniitial release.

I like Pinball FX even though the tables are a little bit weak. They better do a good job on a SF II table. Tiger Uppercut ramps and Shoryuken loops please and I'll bung some points at it. Not many mind!

I actually played on a real Street Fighter pinball machine situated in an arcade next to Goodge Street Station, London. Not sure if it's still there though. I can't tell if they are replicating the original pinball machine, but it was excellent when I last played it complete with samples and dot-matrix animation!

Cool, I was going through my arcade games at the weekend and put PFX on for a bit. Since I last had it on they added a free pirate table too. I will probably get this on the 12th.

Great news. Love this pin sim. The more tables the merrier. Only pro pin (PC) is a worthy alternative. PFX should be hyped more. For pin fans it's truly superb
