Anything known about the price? It was a budget release in Japan as far as I know.

Be £30 I'd imagine. Budget title in Japan because its just a DS port of an old GBA game. We never got the GBA games, so they'll more than likely slap a full price sticker on it.

True, I'll still buy it on Euro release, though.

While you can get most games earlier (and cheaper) through importing, I'm recently trying to vote with my wallet for more (timely) Euro releases.

Wish me luck. :|

I've also been trying to wait for Euro releases when possible, although that's mainly because I don't have enough time to play games as soon as they're available any more.

Good luck with voting with your wallet! I imported the Japanese version ages ago seeing as it had full English option already included.

not only does the japanese version have english text, but it has references to 'fresh prince of bel air', instant 10/10 GOTY.

pity there isnt an extra DS case in this one, had to be one of the best cases in the first game

The lack of the extra case is exactly why this should be a budget game here too. It's great, but not £25 great. £16 from play-asia is spot on.

After the last case in the first PW the first case of the second PW left me gagging for the third.

Have the import version as well.
But hey, what about the newest Phoenix Wright? With the new lawyer and stuff?

play-asia has (at least had, got a copy already :) the us release for 29usd (less than 25eur with postage)... it's a steal.

Top top game! Might as well buy the Jap version from play-asia though, you'll get it straight away. It has full english text.

I must say I have been a little disappointed with the first PW game. Having read so much praise about it, I was surprised to find the dialogue actually very tedious after only a small amount of exchanges in the first case (and the gash techno music grates after approximately 10 seconds). Yes, the 'characterisation' and 'localisation' is tight-ish, but hardly entertaining. And yes, I'm afraid I'm 36 not 16, so I apologise for not shatting my pants with laughter on the arrival of an old woman called 'oldbag' etc etc...

Absolutely love the game mechanic of using items to bat and ball a case though, and really warmed to the assistance from the lawyer and her little sis.

Here's hoping Hotel Dusk will have stirring sound (that means some quiet bits) alongside some clever dialogue...

The second DS installment is not nearly as good as the first, so if you didn't like the first you probably won't like this one too. But I already rambled extensively about this in forums.

Meanwhile, Australia is getting the first one on the 8th of March. I don't know why it's taken two years for it to arrive here. I'd have imported ages ago if it wasn't as difficult to find copies as it is now.

i brought the japanese version from yesasia.com for £17 including postage last month. The japanese version has an english option so its the same as the western release. you can also play the japanese version with the different voices for objection hold it etc if you so desire so the japanese one is the best value.
