Bah, we don't care about cut scenes in the locker room etc. just bring back random selection match, add in some decent new gameplay modes, sort out the dull dull AI, sort out the frame rate, get the right stats for young players that seem to be totally underrated (the whole of Arsenal?), put the option to get rid of fatigue in Master League, streamline the whole Master League player transfers and everything related to that, put back in a scoreboard for playing your mates etc. etc.

most of those are seriously simple to sort and would create a really solid football game. PES08 itself has solid gameplay, it's just let down by everything around it

Looking forward to this very, very much. I enjoyed 08 despite its many flaws. Still the best footie title out there imo. FIFA never FEELS right to me. It's slow and sluggish.
If they suss out the online thing (and really, they HAVE to!), the iffy keepers and scripted CPU score-from-a-corner-in-the-93rd-minute crap then this'll be pure class.
Early playtests say it plays much like PES 5, which is very good news indeed.
Graphics look only slightly improved, but really - a solid framerate and that'll be good enough for me. PES has never been about graphics (tho the animations have always been top-notch)

Bring on a demo of this please!
