Persona 4 dated for early March
Stylised and original RPG for PS2.
Square Enix plans to release PS2 role-playing game Persona 4 here on 13th March. And the PAL box will include a special soundtrack CD with 24 songs on.
Persona 4 has a brand new plot for the supernatural detectives to get to the bottom of, plus lots more dungeons to delve into and bosses to batter. Square Enix reckons the whole thing will take around 60 hours to finish.
The stylised art influenced by manga and Japanese pop culture returns, blending to create a world refreshingly devoid of orcs and goblins and robes and wizard hats.
We're big fans of the series; we awarded Persona 3 a 9/10, and called the RPG one of the finest on the whole PS2. High praise indeed, although a love of turn-based battles and a strong narrative helps.

I've had it pre-ordered for a while now. If I enjoy it then I'll go back for P3.

Yeah, just like anything manga or anime related these days.
Gone are the days when different workshops had their own unique styles but all slightly familiar. Now it all looks like it came from an anime production line in Korea or something.
Anyways, not really fond of JRPGs but thought I'd take a look as everyone and his son is banging on about this.
PS2 as well, didn't expect that.

Ah fuck it, may never get it again knowing what PAL JRPG releases are like.
Also, SE releasing an Atlus game? I presumed they were rival companies of sorts. Shows how much I know

In my case, the final save was made after 92 hours. And I have to say I loved every minute of it. Sure, you have to do some conscious levelupping in order to survive the dungeons but combat is so much fun I didn't mind it. To all the people currently playin P3: P4 is an improved, more comfortable game. Warm recoomendations. Oh, and a soundtrack CD with the PAL release? I know I am getting THAT!!!
