Painkiller Resurrection released on PC
Aspirin' to be a hit with shooter fans.
JoWooD has sneakily released biblical shooter Painkiller: Resurrection on Steam.
The game, which costs £19.99, takes you to purgatory, where weird and wonderful baddies and weaponry await. There's a story mode with comic-style cut-scenes, but the real emphasis lies with hardcore first-person shooting, multiplayer and co-op for four.
Do note, however, that Resurrection is not made by series regular People Can Fly: mod team Homegrown Games takes the honours this time around.
Painkiller: Resurrection arrives on Amazon.co.uk on 6th November - a site not affected by the postal strikes, it claims.

That was a great pun.

I'd far more prefer to see Dreamkiller get a PAL release (it's US-only atm, as far as 360 goes - I don't know if it's region-free or not...) I'm eager to play that.
