I interviewed Ascaran the other day, just waiting for the answers to come back. This game will most likely be big.

I was about to say that Mythos looks friendlier to low-resource PCs, but if this is on the 360 as well...

Sounds fantastic! I could just do with a decent western style RPG at the moment.

Does anyone know if you can do multiplayer on one 360?

This sounds brilliant. I thought Sacred was one of the best RPGs since Diablo 2, so I'm really looking forward to this.

This actually sounds really good, but so did Two Worlds, as was mentioned in the article. I'm not getting my hopes up, but if review indicate they haven't stuffed it all up when it comes, I'll definitely look out for the 360 version (my PC is pretty much steam-powered, and I have no plans to upgrade it right now).

On another note, I always think it's stupid for developers to criticise other games in the genre, when their game will probably be exactly the same. Take the fireball example - even if you can decide to shoot three fireballs, power a single one up, or add homing capability, most of the abilities will probably suck and you'll end up with one or possibly two optimum builds that everyone with a fireball will eventually use, like a single, massively powerful fireball with minor homing capabilities.

Sounds good, but the whole "drop-in co-op server" thing was done exactly like that in Titan Quest.

I think Sacred 1 did it first.

From those screenshots I'm struggling to see how this game can be described as pretty...

Ditto here. Screenshots are not convincing at all.

Potentially good, but the mention of two worlds worries me so I won't get my hopes up, and it's clearly miles away anyway.

Autobalancing in Oblivion was annoying because it killed the immersion. I'd say it's not as much of a problem in Sacred 2 as it relies less on immersion and more on action.

In any case i'm more looking forward to this than i did Hellgate.

Yeah, same here, I think it looks a bit poor as well - previewers keep commenting (not just Rob) how pretty it looks, but I don't see it at all.

Yea still screenshots look pretty average, but i'll reserve judgement till i see an actual gameplay movie. The animations in the original were awesome.

I think the screen shots must be borked as it looks a little shite on those which really does not match up with the text banging on about how great it looks.

Still sounds like one to put on my list as game play wise I like what I hear.
