John lives in Slough. Doesn't that just explain *everything*?

" Raven Shield lead designer Mike McCoy admitted that "the AI in Rogue Spear wasn't smart enough that you'd want them to come with you" "

It's always nice when developers finally speak the truth about their old products to promote the new ones.

"John lives in Slough"

Nah, the press event was in Slough. I live in Leicester, curry capital of the Midlands. Or something. :p

Well, he didn't actually work on Rogue Spear, so... ;)

Rather like Bungie did about Halo in the July Official Xbox Mag. "Oh it's really repetitive and badly designed." I'm surprised OXM had the guts to print it.

It's the truth!

lets hope it's not "one spud gun bullet to the end of the small toe drop dead" syndrome like the previous games.

It might be realistic, but, especially in multiplayer - one hit kills are a long way from fun.

"They printed that... well well they really are not scared of the truth. An excellent editorial decision from an 'O' mag"

I thought so too. I wish they'd stop evangelising Halo as if it had reinvented the genre though. I don't recall it reinventing anything. Recycling maybe...

RSE isn't developing this one. Ubi Soft in Montreal is.

I completed ghost recon and desert siege quite recently and they feel ancient in comparision to flashpoint/resistance.

Glass walls at the level edges ruin the whole experience and the ai is bleedin woeful. This is seriously going to need to be a big jump forward if it wants to keep up in this genre. Not one single trabant to drive for christs sake, let alone a Jawa or a Skoda Estelle!
