there was some talk on the simhq.com forum that someone had managed to grab the source code for this (or F22/TAW) and was in the process of updating it.

shame. Since infra/atari aren't going to do anything with them, it would have been quite good if they'd released the source like what happened with Falcon4. Don't suppose you're in a position of influence?
