Should I be more scared because I hadn't noticed that or because THEY haven't?

They have noticed, or rather it was pointed out to them on another site and George Broussard acknowledged they'd screwed up. Presumably the pictures are from an earlier build before the mistake was fixed.

Yep, I can't remember it's name. Maybe it's out already, but I haven't seen it.

Remember seeing shots over a year ago, looked good.

That's the one. I hear the E3 trailer from last year (and this year too) is going to the 'Cannes Film Festival' and will be coming out on DVD for Autumn.

Duke Nukem Forever E3 trailer was very nice, it's not being shown at this E3 tho.

Ooh, playable code perchance?
I guess I *could* look at their publishers website which would probably have details of what games they are showing, but I can't remember who they are. Or be arsed. I'm hungry.
Been looking forward to DNF since the very first Quake2 engine screenshot of that truck in a mountain pass. Remember that?

"playable code perchance"

Fat chance, more like. 3D Realms are using the familiar "it would waste our time to prepare an E3 demo, we'd rather get on with downloading porn .. sorry .. developing the game" excuse. ;)

Naff story. Naff screenshots. No playable preview. 3DR look like a gang of amateurs scared of being rumbled.

Of course it is. We all saw what a long development time did for Daikatana.

Half-Life was hardly on the same scale as Duke Nukem Forever and Daikatana. :)

Except that the engine is going to look like a turd compared to the others around when it is realised. I actually think Warcraft 3 looks rather tired.

But I did like Duke Nukem 3D and it was one of the greatest multiplayer experiences, if only for the trip mines. :)
