Could be quite promising this one. One question - Is the 'gore' level similar to SOF2 ? Or has it been toned down ?

This game could be really brutal with a good level of gore/violence.

Looking ohh-so-very-MOR. That Blackhawk looks like its from OFP, texture wise.

I doubt the game will be half as nasty as the film - that had some really nasty parts in it ;)

If the game does end up being based on the film, it'll be a complete load of fiction anyway.

Will there be an option to say: "Well you win some and you lose some and we lost today. Let's go home boys!"
Rather than piling after a murdered squad in hope of pulling out their broken bodies and risking the lives of another squad of men.

Our review copy just came in recently, and Martin's playing it at the moment, so hopefully soon. :)

I downloaded the demo and it installed something called EZPAD. Then, when you launch DF:BHD it launches EZPAD and it tries to connect to the internet. After ten minutes I get bored and shut it off.

What is it with this third-party crap that comes with games nowadays? Everytime I install something I end up fighting off "added value" programs like amendments to laws. Could someone have a word with Novalogic, please? Or at least suggest where I am going wrong?

Edit: Admendmants???

Taken from comments on Blue's:

"EZPad is a piece of annoying software that is normally attached to non-public demos (ie. usually press builds) - its usual purpose is to control and monitor who has the ability to play the software. But why the hell Novalogic would release a PUBLIC demo with that crap still present is beyond me - unless someone on their team forgot to take the bloody thing out before releasing it."

"Update your demo.
Start the Lan only version, hit update in main menu, after it updates go Multi and select "want to play on Novaworld" and you're set."

Cheers Moon, I'll give that a try tomorrow.

*Edit* Bloody hell that's one hell of an update. It's worked though. Thanks Moon
