Don't think it ever did appear. I never got past land 3 on the PC version - lost interest as soon as my creature was taken away from me. Maybe I should go back to it one day...

Temporarily - level 3 is basically about getting him back from the clutches of the evil god you meet at the end of land 2 (I think). It just seems to take so long to grow your territory without your creature to help you win over villages that I just gave up about a year and a half ago and haven't loaded it up since.

It doesn't get any better though, the fifth level is rubbish, your creature starts shrinking and loses all his powers which is really annoying and there aren't enough resources, etc, etc, etc. Great first level, entertaining second level and then it all turns pants after that.

I got sucked in by the hype too (note to self - downloadable weather patterns do NOT make a good game), spent ages on the first level then very quickly got tired of the thing on the second.

Without the creature I can't imagine how dull it could get.
