UK publisher Oxygen Games is seeking a buyer for its London studio as it pulls out of internal games development, according to gamesindustry.biz.

The studio was established in January 2007. The team of 14 developers has since produced eight games, including the unforgettable Cheggers' Party Quiz and Alan Hansen's Sports Challenge.

"We are looking for a buyer or partner due to some restructuring at Oxygen Games," confirmed development director Andy Squirrell.

"We have been talking to a number of interested parties, and there is some good interest in the studio and our technology."

Oxygen Games will go back to using external development teams for now.

It's awful that another UK studio is in trouble, but who - seriously - would these "interested parties" be?
