Opoona slips from July to September

KOEI unveils plan for rest of 2008.

KOEI has pushed Wii-exclusive role-playing game Opoona back from July to September in Europe.

Language translations are to blame, according to a KOEI spokesperson, who reassured us there would be no difference between the European versions and those already out in the US and Japan.

Those, incidentally, sit at around a Metacritic average of 65. Our Opoona gamepage has plenty more information.

KOEI also whipped out the calendar for the rest of its 2008 line-up.

Highlights for us include Warriors Orochi 2, which will be out on PS2 and Xbox 360 in September.

That's the same month a revamped G1 Jockey 4 will appear on PS3 - we didn't know about that - and the freshly-announced G1 Jockey 2008 will burst onto Wii with its balance board and Wiimote controls.

The schedule is as follows:

  1. Soul Nomad (PS2) - 20th June
  2. Samurai Warriors 2 (PC) - 27th June
  3. Opoona (Wii) - September
  4. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI (PC) - 8th September
  5. Warriors Orochi 2 (Xbox 360, PS2) - 19th September
  6. G1 Jockey 4 2008 (PS3) - 26th September
  7. G1 Jockey Wii 2008 (Wii) - 26th September
  8. Dynasty Warriors 6 (PC) - October
  9. Prey The Stars (DS) - October
