Reasons for it being CGI: Jawdropping
Reasons for it not being CGI: Look at the left guys right shoulder, clear texture streching due to animation, look at the shed, mmm jags.

I say CGI render. If it was in-game, the guy on the left would be clipping through that wheel. Plus that right-angled leg pose seems a little too specific to actually be bothered with as an animation.
Cutscene or just a mock-up.

Why is this so unbelievable? Ghost Recon 2 doesn't look far off this. You're all just impressed by the grass and the focal blurring. Face it guys, graphics ARE going to get better.

LetsGo somehow thinks he's the only one to see through the marketing tricks, while we're all blind sheep, believing it could be a real shot.

My suspicion, however, is that he simply hasn't played a PC game for a few years. ;-)

Um, yeah, only that that's just not true.

We saw shots of Half-Life 2, Far Cry, and, um, a million other games more than a year before their releases, and it was obvious later that they were all real.

Crysis has tremendous graphics ever since it appeared, at least one year ago ... if im not mistaken

I remember seeing early vids of Half Life 2 and thinking "No way it will look like that on a home system" - particularly the water effects and physics system. Then, 2 years later I'm playing exactly what I saw, in real time. Granted, it cost me well over a grand to do but still.

LetsGo is great, funny and entertaining. Was DooM the last game you played on the 360 or something? Its quite typical to blur was a certain distance because it looks like its further away and makes it look pretty due to the blurring, all while saving on system performance.

I will concede that something has been done to the shot, but its in game + some help from photoshop.

Original has to rate as one of my fav PC games of all time, right up there with Far Cry, with OF being the game I have spent the most time on, on the PC.

Some of the way's I completed the missions were very creative, and the package was well ahead of it�s time with the level of detail in it�s sandbox implementation.

Other missions that sound like run of the mill, where I stole a car went ahead of the platoon, then went round the town, came from the back, killing everyone Rambo style; sound like a piece of piss in most games, for those that have never played it, it is a major achievement killing 27 soldiers alone on a mission.

"All" "House" "3 O'clock" ha-ha VooDoo 3 Glide powered glory days.

Can�t wait. Crosses fingers

Proof of the pudding's in the playing. If it looks gorgeous but plays like a dumbed-down turd (R6 Vegas, anyone?) then Codemasters can poke it. Jericho looked lovely and there was exactly zero game behind the flashy visuals.
