Is it me or are Wii games actually getting worse looking as the platform matures?

I mean you'd have thought that graphics would get better as programmers find ways to squeeze more performance from the machines, instead they seem to be getting lazier. :/

ryohazuki is right. You guys seem to be forgetting that this is on WiiWare and thus it will be limited by size. If it's fun to play, then graphics are not the most important thing. This isn't a boxed game like The Conduit.
But yes, it will probably suck nonetheless.

limited by size?! you realise an extra few hundred poly's on characters costs fuck all in terms of storage size don't you?! it looks shit because of bad art work. not because of the fact it needs to be below a certain size. case in point being something like <a href = "http://www.theprodukkt.co m/">.theprodukkt</A>'s .kkreigher. It's an FPS crammed into <a href = "http://kk.k ema.at/files/kkrieger-beta.zip">96kb</A>. Or even better their lovely looking <a herf = "http://www.theprodu kkt.com/debris">debris</A> demo. [edit] which is 177kb, and a feat if you ask me.
