What with all the excitement surrounding Microsoft's big spring event in San Francisco, you might well have forgotten the altogether much more important Nordic Game conference going on in Malmö, Sweden.
First things first, shame on you for doing that. To make it up to us, be sure to tune in tonight when our friends from the UK's pre-eminent award-losing videogames radio show will be broadcasting live!
Yes, it's One Life Left. The whole gang's over there - Ste, Simon and Ann - and they will be doing their usual preamble (swearing and microphone tests) from 5pm UK time, with the show proper going out at 5.30pm UK time.
Not content with that (I wasn't - I complained), they will be grabbing people from around the conference, perhaps even including game developers, to chat live on the show and presenting the Nordic Game conference awards live on Eurogamer, also broadcasting on the public address system at the Malmö Convention Centre.
And what with the Malmö Convention Centre being next to something called the World Trade Centre, there's ample opportunity for Simon to say things he isn't supposed to and get us all in trouble again.
All you have to do is plug http://ice2.eurogamer.net:8002/OLL.mp3 into whatever listening gizmo you use for these streaming radio broadcasts from 5pm - or 5.30pm - onwards. I use Winamp, and mention this in the hope that they will send me free t-shirts or an MP3 of that song from the Sky Sports News broadcasts, which I've looked for twice and still not discovered.
Finally, there's just room for us to share the photograph to the left, delivered to us via Ste's mobile phone, of "about half the hall" where OLL will be broadcasting. Speak to you later.
