Oddworld for PSN on Thursday

Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exodus.

Lorne Lanning's Oddworld is heading to the PlayStation Store this week.

From Thursday, PSone instalments Abe's Oddysee (1997) and Abe's Exodus (1998) will be available for $9.99 apiece, according to the US PS blog.

"We can't help but feel like Abe is our lost child who has finally returned home. He's still healthy, he's still happy, and if you read the forums lately... still holding up after all these years," added game director Lanning.

Oddworld: Abe's Odysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exodus are platform games about Abe, unsurprisingly - a slave who must free his people and restore his race to glory. Both titles garnered hefty critical acclaim.

We're also a bit partial to Stranger's Wrath for Xbox, which you can read about in our recent retrospective.
