Nuts & Bolts DLC coming in April News

Xbox 360 News by Robert Purchese

31 March, 2009

Rare plans to beef up Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts on 7th April with the Lord of Games' Lost Challenges pack.

It will cost 400 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80), and adds a series of 12 tests for the bear and bird to build their way through. Succeed and another version of Klungo's arcade game will be offered as a reward.

There's also seven extra multiplayer modes - although they're not detailed - and 250 Gamerpoints up for grabs.

We've got a trailer of LOG's Lost Challenges on Eurogamer TV, plus some screenshots packed into a friendly gallery.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts was released exclusively for Xbox 360 late last year, but rang rather hollow despite some lovely touches.

Our Banjo-Kazooie review can tell you much more.

The achievements have been up for about a week now, no-one else seemed to notice...

Ah Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts... I really should get back to that and complete it. I remember it was quite good.... I can't think why I haven't really...

unless...

I'm admitting that the game itself wasn't anywhere near as good as the N64 original, which I played compulsively until I'd completed it 100%... twice? :?

Or maybe it's a sign that I'm getting old and that games don't hold my interest as much as they used to (unless they're by Bethesda)? :(

"Is this game any good? "

Yes, but it's another case where the demo isn't really indicative of the full game.

Only 12 more challenges? They'd better be good ones for 400.

I can't see myself buying it unless they add some more parts to play with...
