Novastrike for PSN in Q2 2008
Top-down shooter, DualShock 3 support.
Tiki Games has announced that it will release Novastrike, a free-roaming top-down shooter, via the PlayStation 3 Store in Q2 2008.
Novastrike sees players take control of an "experimental Scythe fighter" in a "sci-fi war zone" where players face "the world-conquering Draelus".
You'll blow stuff up, obviously, using nine basic weapon systems accumulated from enemy drops, each with three upgrade levels.
Fighting alongside you through seven "expansive", objective-based levels will be allied units of some sort, too.
What's more, Tiki plans to offer "continued updates and content additions to keep the game fluid and changing" and this will be "throughout 2008".
There's good news for prospective DualShock 3 owners, too, because the game will support Sony's upcoming rumbly pad, whenever we get it.
Novastrike has not been specifically dated or priced.
Check out how it's shaping up in our Novastrike screenshot gallery.
