Noby Noby Boy dated and priced

Katamari creator's next coming soon.

Namco and Sony have put a date and price - precise for Japan, vague for Europe - on Noby Noby Boy, the new PS3 game-thing from Katamari creator Keita Takahashi.

According to Kotaku, Noby Noby Boy will be released as a PlayStation Network download for JPY 800 on January 29th in Japan and Korea.

Sony Europe is only saying "early 2009", but is promising a very tempting price of 4 Euros, which is probably around a million pounds, given the current state of sterling.

Noby Noby Boy is more of an interactive toy than a game, where you control the two ends of the "boy" with the two analogue sticks, stretching him, tying him in knots and messing around with stuff.

We vividly remember its hilarious and bewildering appearance at last year's Nottingham GameCity, and expect it will be well worth EUR 4 / GBP 1,000,000.
