No Doubt songs added to GH3
Up now on Live.
Activision has popped a trio of No Doubt songs onto Xbox Live.
They are Don't Speak, Excuse Me Mr and Sunday Morning. The bundle will cost you 500 Points (GBP 4.25 / EUR 6.00).
We assume these are up on the PS3 Store as well, but we have no way of checking, and Sony is yet to send its weekly update list to us. Help.
No Doubt started life in 1986 as a rock band in California, but only really hit headlines in 1996 with Don't Speak.
The band went on hiatus in 2004 so frontwoman Gwen Stefani could pursue her solo dreams. She's done all right. Apparently the band is reforming this year to record and release an album. [What is this, SmashHitsgamer? - Dep Ed]

I want tunes with proper guitar solos from artists like "The Kings Of Leon", "Nirvana", "Feeder", "GreenDay" & more "Red Hot Chili Peppers". Also some proper tunes from artists they've already done, "Numb" by "Linkin Park" is a much better tune than "No More Sorrow" for instance.
And whats wrong with some classics, "Hotel California" by "The Eagles" or "Don't Stop Me Now" by "Queen".
THE GAME IS CALLED GUITAR HERO, NOT POP IDOL!!!!!
Sort it out, and sort it out now!!!!!

what's next, 'where is the love?'? 'love is all around'? 'spice up your life'?
[another edit] - ok, fair enough. some people like no doubt. all i'm saying is i believe their music is painfully lightweight and hardly suited to GH3. Also, i got confused and thought we were talking about rock band, but that's because i'm obviously an idiot, and thus nobody should listen to me anyway. finally, i realise that chart success doesn't automatically mean something is pop trash and never said otherwise.

They have fairly decent Ska Punk roots, produce their own material, and perform live. Having a #1 single in the charts for a few weeks doesn't automatically make you pop trash.

Anyway, Sony continues to show they couldn't care less about Euroland aka Sony bitches, that's what we are.

Also, what the hell is wrong with people? Alternative rock is awesome and relaxing. Think half of you are just teenagers harking back to your dads bands or loving what NME decree is rock for this week. Is there spirit in music these days?

I want: Little Wing, Won't Get Fooled Again, Whiskey in the Jar, and while I'm at it, that one from Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds that goes... Naah nah nah nah naaaaaah, nah nah nah nah neeeeeee naaaaaaaah. Diddle didle didle da da da dee da dee da de da daaaaa etc. Mars and such.

@ Nige - great choice of songs there - now I'd definitely buy them in a pack for 6 euro.

+1
Used to love No doubt before Gwen sold out.
Regarding the article, its a shame i bought the ps2 version of the game as it seems that im missing out on some really cool additional content, regardless of how pricey it is. And before someone chimes in with the obligatory "L2P a real guitar noob!!1!" [sic] - i can play all of these songs on a real guitar
I just really like GH, that's all

Please tell me you're trolling. Which Feeder songs have guitar solos? Although Holiday would make a good song in the first block or two, and All Around The World would be good.
Personal requests for new DLC: Radiohead - Paranoid Android, SOAD - BYOB, Del Amitri - Start With Me, U2 - New Years Day, RATM - Know Your Enemy, DatD - Layla, Incubus - Megalomaniac, Jeff Buckley - So Real, Led Zep - Black Dog, Queen - Death on Two Legs, Smashing Pumpkins - Ode To No One, Tenacious D - Tribute, Fleetwood Mac - The Chain (just the last minute will do).
