As long as we get Super Paper Mario plus either Mario Galaxy or Metroid (preferably both) in Europe in 2007, I'll be happy with the rest filling the gaps.

I think most of those will make Europe this year.

IMO most at risk for Europe are Forever Blue, Project Hammer, Disaster:Day of crisis and either Wii Health or Wii Music (I think we'll se one this year but not the other).

Maybe they should concentrate less on the release schedule of the games and more on telling me when I can walk into a shop and buy one.

I think what gets more people annoyed is when they cover games news from America and Japan and not from Europe.

How often does EG quote prices in Euros? How often do they actually ask Nintendo why we get games so much later?

There's a lot more EG could be doing beyond just aping all the American sites already out there.

As much as I love to hear about new games coming out, what i'm alluding to is the fact that unlike the PS3 / 360 brigade, Wii owners seem to have to wait months rather than weeks for titles that are available in other regions.

Ah yes, I couldn't agree with you more. Hence, I bought a US Wii - it was part of the reason I imported. NoE continue to be larely irrelevant to NoJ. All my Nintendo consoles have been US consoles, and I don't regret going with a US Wii so far.

With regards to EG, I agree with the sentiment of using Euros where relevant. With regards to this article, surely the Nintendo 2007 line up is of interest to many Wii owners, even though presently it applies to the Japanese market, it gives a good indication of what everyone else can expect (or in the case of the Euro market, be waiting for months after everyone else).

Was in the pub on Friday night when the barmaid and a 60ish year old bloke were moaning about the lack of games coming out on the Wii.

I thought I must be pissed off my face but no I hadnt had a drop.

However Nintendo need to do something about that perception because its not only one that many of us Wii gamers have but now the new audience they so expertly have targeted are saying it as well.

If that date ends up being true then even the greatest european ninty fanboys would have to admit Mario and Metroid are pretty unlikely to reach these parts until mid 2008 earliest.

I said it before and I'll say it again - Super Paper Mario is being held back as a sweetener for Europe when it is (eventually) announced that Galaxy, Brawl and Metroid aren't out here until 2008.

The Paper Mario games to date have been something special, hence much frustration, Adam_T.

I've never played them myself so I apologise if I appear to be a bit of a nonce! Can't say I've heard much about them, just that it's a really big name.

Any more good games released for my Wii is good as far as I'm concerned :)

The ps3 has been out the same amount as time as the wii, where are all it's BRILLIANT exclusives - i see nothing on the radar to match this list!

The 360 has a line up to match.. but it's been out a year already.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is great; Super paper Mario is good, at this moment in time I would prefer Mario Strikers Charged.

Not really true... PS3 owners had a 4 month delay on every single launch title.

It still amazes me that so many of you moan on about Nintendo's stance in Europe.
Since the NES Europe has been the poor relation yet everytime a list like this appears you get 50+ comments moaning about the lack of Euro releases.

Accept it and move on, like I did 10 years ago at the back end of the SNES days - it is pretty clear by now it is not something Nintendo is in any hurry to change (they were happy with this method when N64 and GC were tredding water, what hope now if the majority of European consumers are happy to buy DS/Wii in such numbers and accept the shaft?!)

There is even less reason to complain these days as most TV's will accept an NTSC signal and the games are far cheaper when bought from many online US retailers.

While it does not make it right, it does make sense. Now go and import, and enjoy Paper Mario like I am months before it will see a UK release...

Well i've completed super paper mario now.. it was great, but i probably wont go back to it again.

But something like strikers is something i'd go back to again and again.

So to me, i know what i'd prefer.
