    Looks the same but with slightly different surroundings and added shininess.

    That would probably be because this is Ninja Gaiden Sigma not Ninja Gaiden 2...

    Honestly, what were you expecting? Surely the whole point is that it's NG but shinier.

    Christ, I never said I was expecting anything else.

    Well, the same can be said for nextgen graphics in general, so...

    @Gnort: lol

    @Nikanoru: well, I wouldn't say that of games such as Gears of War or R6: Vegas... I guess you're missing something of the next generation if you think shininess is the only thing it added to the GFX...

    Those screenshots look like they've been taken at 720p and then upscaled to 1080p in Photoshop :-/

    They do look lovely though.

    Tried the first NG on xbox, damn hard, managed to finish of some bosses using only one attack repeatedly...

    My major gripe with all fighting games are that there are x^243 ways to attack someone, and pretty much just ONE button for "block".

    Atleast as far as I can remember, ducking, blocking, sideways (boxing style wheight shifting) is either seriously badly implemented or looks as if you are rotating around your enemy's hidden axis usually without moving your feet.

    Most 3dgames still feel like you are playing streetfighter along a fixed line that is just moved by the camera.... this is of course both a challenge to solve without ruining playability, but most fighter games I try never leave me an impression of having full 3D freedom or having the possibility of blocking different attacks.

    I know this possibly would make the game even harder, but I remember an old N64 game where a martial ars dude with a spear had the abillity to roll sideways in ways that looked like he dove between the opponents hands and feet to rapidly attack him from the side.

    I still remember the feeling of thinking "woah! that looked damn real!"

    Yup, there's definitely scaling happening but I can assure you these are taken directly from the PS3's 1080p output, using HD capture kit I designed.
