Ninety-Nine Nights 2 to arrive this spring News

Xbox 360 News by Ellie Gibson

11 January, 2010

The sequel to Xbox 360 action epic Ninety-Nine Nights will be released in Japan this spring.

That's according to the official website for the game, which has been updated to reveal Ninety-Nine Nights 2 is slated for a "spring 2010" launch. The site also confirms the game will ship on a single disc and there will be a two-player mode.

It's been more than three years since the original Ninety-Nine Nights was released in Europe. Read Kristan's review to find out what we thought of it (clue: 7/10). You can find a trailer for the sequel over on Eurogamer TV.

The first was way too repetitive and the save points was horrendous. If they fix this im in.

I remember being very impressed with this when it first came out, I'm not sure how many enemies it had on-screen at once, but it felt like hundreds. It became a bit of a button masher and the environments were a bit drab so if they can fix those things I'll definitely be buying the sequel.

One to watch I think as I really liked the first one despite it being a bit repetitive. I particularly liked multiple characters all playing through the same story from different perspectives which was quite a nice idea.
