Tony Hawk project 8 was best since the 3rd one for me. My most played game of last year. Hope this is good and not like number 4

It will be interesting to see how EAs SKATE fares.

Still have not tried Project 8 looks amazing, just lost interest in the series since no. 4. This does sound good, but will it be as fun with all this Nail the Grab stuff

Just go back to the series roots please.

Tony Hawk's hasn't been good since THPS3; Project 8 is passable entertainment at best.

No PSP version?

Surely they could just port the PS2 iteration?

God I'm bored of Tony Hawks, it all just got a little over complicated for me, I just don't have the digit dexterity for it all. They must be pooping themselves over that Skate title, because for one, graphically it looks a hell of a lot better than anything Neversoft have put out, and the control system sounds very promising too.

Tony Hawk's is a victim of loading the game with too much stuff. It's difficult to see where to progress and what's left to do half the time.

THPS8 was fun, but they could streamline the experience more. Neversoft should return to basics, cut back on the features and concentrate on stuff that is fun.

This guy nailed it.

technically THP8 was good, but the sheer ridiculousness of it went way too far - it was weird doing million point combos jumping off rooftops into garbage cans to unlock a video of a pro skater just about pulling off a manual or vert trick.

Stop this wandering around the world crap and just give me actual skate parks to play in.

TH:AW was played for a week and is now rotting on my shelves as a result of a) stupid missions like "spray tag" (oooh, I got up against a wall and pushed X. Woo!) and b) that really fucking irritating psuedo-punk girl who wouldn't know Fugazi from a Ferrari.
