F.E.A.R. multiplayer demo - get it here!
16 player support.
Sierra has released a 16-player multiplayer demo of F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) today, allowing you to get a feel for the online portion of this hugely-anticipated paranormal first person shooter at close quarters.
Tom's certainly been getting hot and bothered about the game all year, and effectively compared the bullet-time laced experence to being able to star in your own action movie.
The full game's due out on PC on October 21st, but while we await Volition's excellent-sounding release, why not give this 432MB demo a try? It includes two maps: DM Factory and CT Facility. Go, go, go.
Oh, by the way, while you're there, check out the excellent Weapons Of F.E.A.R. video (45MB), which gives a full run-down of what you can expect from the full game.

I'm surprised because I have to say this demo was frickin' awesome. Great guns and seriously frantic gameplay. Loads of modes too, with Slo-Mo CTF holding my attention most so far.
Damn, I can't wait for the retail now.
