Looking forward to perhaps, a decent shooter for PSP.

If its as good as SOCOM II, then it'll be class on the go.

Sounds like another watered-down port.

Am I the only one who doesn't find First person shooters as a portable gaming genre? I'm basing this on the believe, that because of the quick reactions and etc. the controller tends move and shake during play, which normally doesn't cause a problem, but with portables it's also holding the screen. Also, I consider FPSs to not be playable "on the road".

Well having tried coded arms, I have big doubts over this. The analogue stick is such an arse to use, its so tricky to make subtle movements. Add to that that small characters in the distance may only be a couple of pixels high, and its going to be solid to play.

Are all PSP analogue nubs 'creaky' and inaccurate to slide around or was it just my generally faulty Japanese one?

ive got the american copy of socom fire team bravo from gameseek.

Graphics seem.. abit off when your runing about. the arms seem to fade like you would expect a fast car/object to do in games. e.g. need for speed / ridge racer cut scenes. But apart from that the maps are large and detailed. The head shots still have the blood pooring out of their mouths :) as it did on socom ii. Controls are very different at first, but after a mision or 2 you get comfortable with them easily.

The online gaming is gr8, and this was on US EAST server, no lag problems, i got 2 kills to 4 deaths... it was the first time online with the psp for me though lol. Like 15 mins ago i had that game. Going to grab one of those headasets that ive seen on the net, when i can.

Hopefully they will improve the graphics a touch for UK's release. I will probably grab a UK copy if i cant access the UK server for online gaming via this copy.

it isnt as good as socom ii, but it is the first installment on the psp for zipper's socom series.

its not a wartered down port, its an good title for the psp and socom series. Cant wait to get socom 3 and get this cross talk feature working.

personaly im not fond of fps, but the option is there in socom.

Coded arms sucks ive got it, wish i didnt ask for it though, dont let coded arms relfect any other psp game. Socom is alot better than that.
