Is there a Special Cup in Mario Kart?

Evening folks. Sorry to interrupt the flow of your easygoing, mid-evening surf like this (or indeed your hungover Saturday morning surf), but I felt it was imperative that I let you in on something. Something joyous. Something that made me a very happen little gamer not five minutes ago.
There is a Special Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash. As the little plumbing so-and-so might put it, "Wahoo!" For those of you who manage to get gold in 50cc, 100cc and 150cc championships for each of the three basic cups, Special Cup will open up, inviting you to try four harder, longer and more thoroughly impressive tracks.
And those tracks are (there's still time to look away, guys) Wario Colosseum (a massive, spiralling track eerily reminiscent of some of those found in F-Zero GX, interestingly), Dino Dino Jungle (a prehistoric feast of shortcuts, water walkways and geysers, complete with foot-stamping Diplodocus and Pterodactyls), Bowser's Castle (a hulking beast of a castle with a lava-spitting Bowser statue, lots of the red stuff and, of course, the thumping, frowning, spiking grey blocks) and - last but by no means least - Rainbow Road (like your favourite band doing your favourite song at the end of their set).
Anyway, as I said, sorry to interrupt your evening... but some things just can't wait.
