With Kojima spending years fastidiously working away on each instalment of his beloved Metal Gear Solid series, stealth fans owe something of a debt of gratitude to Ubisoft for turning around the consistently impressive adventures of Sam Fisher with far greater frequency.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent is the next addition to the Tom Clancy secrets-and-spies franchise, boasting a comprehensive range of content for both lonely sneaker and multiplayer thrill-seeker - and you can now watch an exclusive trailer on Eurogamer TV.

If you haven't checked it out already, we suggest you have a read of Kristan's detailed account of the latest build, including comments from the developer and hands-on impressions of the multiplayer.

Once you've done that, exclusive Double Agent footage, showing off numerous aspects of the gameplay, will be waiting for you in the shadows.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent is due for release on Xbox 360, PC, PS2, Xbox, GameCube (and PS3, too, if we're lucky) in the run up to Christmas - with the first versions arriving in October.

^ No, they're not. If you had been paying attention it's a rework of the CT engine with dual core cpu support, higher polygon character models and HDR in mp game.

Lol, I think you are on the wrong boards for that kind of talk ;)

I am guessing that the ghosts are related to a tutorial level. Just a guess though (and a bizarre thing to include in a trailer if so).

Bullet time? Did I see bullet time in there? Is nothing safe?

^ So, according to you, these boards are all about not getting the facts straight ?

Good god Fisher! You've committed an indecent act on the president. Clean that mess up. Needless to say if any trace semen is found by the Koreans, as far as we're concerned, you don't exist.
