City of Villains to get update

And Heroes to get tweaked, too.

NCsoft has announced that a new update is on the way for City of Villains, the expansion-but-also-standalone-game follow-up to MMORPG City of Heroes.

The new update, which is titled Issue 7: Destiny Manifest, will be automatically sent out to subscribers for no money at all this April. It will feature new Mayhem Missions, which see evil types wreaking havoc around Paragon City within a time limit - you'll be able to steal from shops, face off with the cops and generally make life difficult for everyone, in between mashing up city blocks and earning some healthy bonuses.

The update will also include more than 300 new missions, plus more Poser sets and Patron Power Pools. You'll also be able to visit a zone called Grandville, if you're of a high enough level, and face off with Lord Recluse and an army of really weird spiders.

City of Heroes will also get a bit of an overhaul - you can expect an enhanced user interface, improved graphics and new features.

City of Villains is out now - and the good news is that if you're already paying a subscription fee for Heroes, there's no extra charge, and vice versa.

You need a respec ali-uk you've obviously picked a gimped power set for trolling.

Uh, I've made about 5 posts. How have I been trolling?

And I genuinely think CoH is bad, having played it for a while and gotten incredibly bored of it. It's a generic MMORPGs dressed up with superheroes, to appeal to comic book fans. WoW beats it every way, just like most other MMORPGs.

Nothing beats the combat of CoH. The group mechanics are important even in the low levels, and the combat always need good coordination between group members and good playing from the single players to avoid being trampled by the large number of mobs. While WoW needs from some group coordination in the "normal" instances and much group coordination in the end game (which the majority of the people won't ever experience), it is usually a solo experience, even while grouping.
I still have to spend the same number of hours that I've spent on WoW on CoH (and I've yet to build a char for CoV) but still the City games are much more engaging than WoW, expecially when played in the right group. Unfortunately, CoH suffers from a slow, grinding, level up speed, and I'd have preferred a much more faster build of the char just like in Diablo for a game so much combat oriented.

I'll say it again a litttle louder...ahem..."POSER SETS"?

" If only CoH was actually good..."

By posting that in a thread about CoH you are trolling. Your explanation of why you're not trolling is trolling as well, please try harder or perhaps, ignore threads about games you're not interested in.

I think WoW is shit, I think I'll post that in every single thread about WoW, alternatively why bother?

Poser sets sound great, I wonder what they do...

In this case ali-uk try and say why you think it's rubbish not just slag it off. As you just did that you are trolling, but obviously your mental level is too low to understand the complexities of CoH/CoV you won't understand.
