Final SingStar '80s track-list News

PlayStation 2 News by Tom Bramwell

30 August, 2005

Sony's confirmed the song list for its latest karaoke sing-along title SingStar '80s, and there are around ten additions over and above what we were told when the game was first announced.

You can see the full song list below, but to save you time the additions include Tears For Fears, INXS, Duran Duran (Rio!), Tina Turner, Madonna, Alice Cooper, Run DMC and Madness. Dolly Parton's in there too. And how could we forget Survivor?

Apparently we couldn't, and neither, Sony reckons, will you. As usual, there's a total of 30 songs. There's no comment yet on new features, but we can probably live with just the songs. According to Sony's most recent release schedule, SingStar '80s is due out on PS2 this November.

  • Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
  • Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen
  • Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby

Seconded! Featuring Supergrass, Blur, Ash and the Charlatans! I'll dust off my duffle coat.

Mostly a great lineup, plus it's got INXS (Disappear or New sensation would have been better choices) so i'm even a bit more tempted by it. But no U2?? meh XP

Finally a singstar with a good track listing instead of a few good songs in a sea of cack!

And if Sony are listening, how about a muscials version? Film or stage, either good ;-)

A flock of Seagulls would have been a great addition too...

The ideia of having Supergrass in a future title is also very nice indeed.

Would've been good if one had been released based on GTA's tracklistings...
