Brian Lara demo

Bowls onto Eurofiles.

A playable demo of Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 is now available on Eurofiles. It's the one with commentary now and everything.

Weighing in at more than 850MB, the demo offers a wholly appropriate way to spend an English summer afternoon - particularly if it's raining outside.

BLIC, currently in development by Codemasters for PC, PS2 and Xbox, is the first cricket game to officially feature Hawk-Eye - the tracking and analysis graphics system as seen on TV. There's a host of other exciting new features too, and you can read all about them here.

Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 is out on July 21.

As if there is not a case to be made for region free coding of games. I am a West Indian: living up here in the Great Lakes Region: went to school with the Likes of Joel 'Big Bird' Garner -know him personally-: am an avid fan, player of cricket but yet cannot get hold of these games for my PS2. Incompatability, they say and yet I can buy NBA Street, Madden NFL and everything else that they can throw at me, everthing except what I want. It is time both these game/console manufactures realize the world is more global than they think. People are moving from counry to country at an even faster rate and taking their culture with them.
Ugh! It makes me want to -ugh- well, enough ranting but you people in Europe should understand and be calling for region free games/consoles. After all, SONY just did you guys in with their PSP thing...
