Modern Combat demo on 360

Kill 23 people immediately.

A little bit later than promised, EA's popped a demo of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat onto Xbox 360 Marketplace.

At 382MB it's a bit smaller than some of the recent ones, and offers 24-player online test of the multiplayer-focused first-person shooter.

Originally released on PS2 and Xbox, Modern Combat has been spruced up on 360 with improved visuals and various other refinements - which is just as well, as we didn't think it did a particularly amazing job of standing up to the PC version, plain-old Battlefield 2.

Anyway, the full game's due out on April 14th.

    Er... why keep comparing the console game to the PC one? They're blatently completely different games. They don't even have the same maps as each other.

    It doesn't make sense to me to judge a console FPS by comparing it to a PC FPS that shares nothing but the franchise name...

    I`m concernered about the small number of players, I only play on 64 men games on the PC, but at least its in the living room i guess, and on a phat telly too

    Oh surprise surprise another game thats forgotten 14% of the world is left handed - oh why dont you games developers just bogger off and shuv your lame lazy coding up your ...........

    banjo21 what on earth are you on about LOL, I'm left handed and I'm owning everyone. Don't take it out on the game just because you suck LOL. Looks awesome though Think it's a top job and I totaly agree with the creeper this game should not be compared to the PC version, it's in it's own league with other CONSOLE FPS. Also I think they did the 24 play rooms cause they are more likely to get filled all makes sence to me...

    Quite tasty. The grapichs are a big step up from the ps2 and xobx release.

    elli we all have our opinions - you play the right-handed way and I play the left. Assuming you always do that then see how good you are playing southpaw on a game before you take your place at the throne of greatness :) Its always easy to play the way you're used to playing and my point is the developer is mindlessly ignoring a significant proportion of the market for such a simple feature - not whether elli is a gaming pro or not because he's a leftie and can play right-handed. Each to their own but I guarantee they'll either fix it quickly, i.e. in the full release, or get flamed by 1000s for yet another example of pointless apathy to us lovely lefties.
