WOW gets new patch
And Azeroth gets weather.
Blizzard has issued a new patch for World of Warcraft which will bring weather effects to Azeroth for the first time.
Well, certain areas of Azeroth, anyway - such as Elwynn Forest, Dun Morogh, Darkshor, Un'Goro Crater and Tanaris. But Blizzard "will be adding more weather to the world as time progresses," apparently.
Patch v1.10 also introduces new rare epic armour sets to dungeons, plus all-new bosses. Various items have been enhanced and some drop rates have been increased, too.
There's good news for level 60 players - from now on, any experience points you earn will be converted into gold, offering more incentive to complete quests.
Other changes include the option to select a final destination when dealing with Flight Masters, thereby eliminating the need to make stops along the way. You can expect all manner of balance tweaks, too - for the full rundown, visit the official World of Warcraft website.

Too bad the game will still be boring as hell as soon as you reach level 40. No more incentive to continue, no more great carrots to motivate you to go on. Battlegrounds and such isn't my cup of tea.

Though from patch notes, we Hunters are about to get gimped again... seems Hunters and Warriors do nothing BUT get gimped... depressing...

Hunters Beaststalker set is completely trashed, who needs +200 armour as a buff when we don't melee often... Thanks Blizz

Hunters and Warriors get shafted because people think these jobs are easy. They aren't. Removing the variety of playing styles isn't helping matters none... it feels like we're being forced to play a set way that Blizzard has in mind... and that, to me, is depressing and reflects poorly on the direction the game is taking...
In short, Blizzard, we love your game... BUT LEAVE HUNTERS AND WARRIORS ALONE NOW FFS!

My guild has currently just started on Zul'Gurub and although the tactics on how to defeat all the bosses are well known since long it's still a thrill to get all the players to do what they're supposed to and defeat the boss in question.
And purple *is* a nice color.
