Lego Star Wars II demo hits Live
We've been after this for a while.
A playable demo of Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy was the latest highlight of Microsoft's "Bringing it Home" promotion when it went live yesterday.
The campaign offers gamers a chance to see content unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show and Microsoft's imminent X06 event in Barcelona by downloading it from Xbox Live Marketplace, and coincides, until September 29th, with a week of free Xbox Live Gold access for everyone in Europe.
Now into its eighth day, Microsoft's Marketplace promotion yesterday saw the playable demo of Lego Star Wars II joined by trailers for Forza 2 Physics & Damage, NBA 2K7, Sonic The Hedgehog, Shrek 3, Just Cause, NHL 2K7, and The Darkness. Today's downloads include a playable demo of Sonic the Hedgehog and a trailer for Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.
With Lego Star Wars II managing to shift over 1.1 million copies after just one week on sale, and earning a more than respectable 8 out of 10 review score on that highly esteemed Eurogamer website, you should certainly download the demo if you haven't already.
