PES6 to debut at E3
Seabass' first time at the show.
Konami has announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will debut at E3 - the first time in the series' history it will have done so.
Creator Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka remains at the helm, and will be visiting E3 with the game to promote it. "This marks my first trip to E3 and I am greatly looking forward to this chance to expand the games amazing popularity to a wider, global level," he says.
Konami's keeping quiet for now about what's changed in PES6 - which is likely to appear on PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC and PSP - but has said to expect new moves, licensed clubs and gameplay modes, some of which will be unveiled during the show, which takes place between May 10th and 12th. A PlayStation 3 unveiling wouldn't be totally unbelievable either.
Incidentally, Konami may not be saying much about PES6 specifically, but it's a safe bet that many of the features touted in the Japanese Winning Eleven 10 title - released this week - will make it in. You can read more about WE10 in our previous coverage, with more PES coverage due during E3.

Your kidding right? You havent noticed all the new player-specific animations? The new goal celebrations? the new special moves? The pace of the game being quicker? Dribbling back to PES3 Style? The new quick free kick move? The fact the ref lets play go on without the on screen indicator? No auto-sidestep? The completely changed keepers?
Granted its an incremental update as all of them are, but it has changed a suitable amount from the last one, and for the better in all respects.

FIFA = better presentation
Annual update PES = adding 30 more animations for shooting, 3 more licensed players
Annual update FIFA = slightly improving graphics, some improvements in gameplay to bring it closer to PES (imitation, flattery and all that), 560 new stadiums
Konami = Gods
EA = Shit-eating money printer

EA = Shit-eating money printer"
Konami are just as bad as EA with this update 7 / 8 months after the last version. What sickens me is the state of the PC online servers. They started well, but have become unbelievabley laggy over time; sending a message to a player can take upto 2 minutes!
I bet you a million quid the new PES6 online servers will be lovely, work well and be lag free.
Disgusting.

Master League is exactly the same as PE5 as far as I can see, with the one exception of being able to choose transfer frequency and whether players age, disgusting lack of update and progression to this major (for me) aspect of the game. Presumably there will be no improvement to ML from WE10, which means its now been identical for PES4, PES5 and PES6, that's complete and utter shite.
WE10's gameplay and ML and presentation = a good football game.
WE10's gameplay + Fifa's career mode + Fifa's presentation = a very, very good football game.
WE10's gameplay + Football Manager's career mode + Fifa's presentation = I'm calling off my wedding, no time to do anything but play this

LOL.
The graphics were substandard even fore the ps2.
What makes you think they're gonna put the effort in?
