X360 RPG trailers tomorrow
Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.
High definition video trailers for Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey will be released to Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow, 27th September, Microsoft has announced.
It's all part of the Xbox Live "Bringing It Home" love-in that gives you the chance to see content first unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show - with more to come later this week from X06.
Blue Dragon, due out in Japan this December, is a collaboration between Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker studio and Artoon, with art from Akira Toriyama.
Lost Odyssey, also from Mistwalker, and Free Plus, is due out next year and tells the story of a chap sentenced to live for 1,000 years.
Expect much more from Xbox Live Marketplace in the next few days, with F.E.A.R. and Fuzion Frenzy 2 demos, trailers for the likes of Forza Motorsport 2 and Virtua Tennis 3, and various themes and picture-packs already available.
The Bringing It Home campaign ends on 29th September, and coincides with a week of free Xbox Live Gold access for everyone in Europe.

I did this too...what a waste of time! I couldn't even figure out how to kill anybody. Oh, and it was rubbish. Jumping from roof to roof was bordering on fun though.

As for THAT Japanese Tenchu demo; well all I can say after playing it is thank goodness it wasn't on the US and European Marketplaces 'cos it was absolute dross.

heh, ain't gonna happen though.
And why is everybody so hyped up about tenchu? Afaik, the previous versions where average at best. :\

Being a ninja and killing people.
A hell of alot of improvements have been made aswell, for instance running up to a short obstacle and holding forward see you easily just vault over it, you can hang onto diagonal surfaces, you can lift, carry and throw bodies, crouching towards the edge of a roof sees you lean forward and peer over the side to see whats below, more interactivity has been put into the stealth kills.
To me it feels alot better to play Tenchu than a Metal Gear for instance, in Tenchu you run and look pretty much all the time like a ninja, moving from standing into a crouch walk is smooth and easy unlike the mechanical movements on Metal Gear.
Im not trying to set them up against one another, but yeah theres alot to like in Tenchu if your interested in the kind of game it is and enjoyed some of the older versions of it.
I loved the demo
