LMA Manager 2007 update

Transfer window data.

As promised, Codemasters has released a free stats update for LMA Manager 2007, allowing you to take advantage of data accurate to the end of the August transfer window.

The PC patch is available from Codemasters' website, while the Xbox 360 file can be had on Live Marketplace and the PS2 version on PlayStation 2 Net, with all of them likely to appear on official-magazine coverdiscs.

LMA Manager 2007 is available now on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2, and we should have a review up soon.

This stats update was available last Friday by the way, the same day the game was released, as I downloaded it straight away for the Xbox 360 and have been using it since then. I'd have been annoyed if it wasn't as once you've started the game, you cannot use the new stats without starting a new game.

Well, it does make sense only being able to update the stats when you start a new game though doesn't it?

Imagine if you were in the middle of a game, updated the stats and then found that your best players had transfered to another club, or any signings you'd made were no longer at your team?

Obviously. The point I was making is that Codemasters released the stats update the SAME day as the game came out for that the reason that you'd have to restart the game otherwise if you wanted to use them so kudos to them for doing so.

I downloaded the demo of this on the market place. 3 minutes in I get a throw in as Liverpool. Jamie Carragher took a throw in and passed directly to an opposing player with no Liverpool team mates near him, that guy then when on to score directly because the defense was pushed up ofr the throw in.

I turned it off at that point and deleted the demo.

If only PES6 also had a downloadable update for the January transfer window, rather than having to play it out of date (online) till the following October.

I can't believe they went and put StarForce protection on the PC release, it's a horrible thing altogether Starforce, feels like watching my hard drive being raped. Love Football games and Football management games but going nowhere near LMA for this reason. Shame really
