Capcom names Viewtiful Joes
Official names for Cube, PSP, DS.
Capcom has revealed the names of the forthcoming GameCube, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS instalments in the Viewtiful Joe series.
Contrary to reports that appeared overnight, the GameCube and PSP title - a bit of a departure for the series in that it's more of a beat-'em-up than a scrolling action effort - will be called Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble.
Reports had suggested that it was to be called Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Man, but according to Capcom that's not the case - although Red Hot Man was to be the original name for Viewtiful Joe before somebody came up with the game's far more distinctive current moniker.
Red Hot Rumble had also gone by the name VFX Battle in press presentations, and confusingly will still be called Battle Carnival in Japan.
Meanwhile, the DS version, which is a completely separate game involving use of the touch-screen, is to be called Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble.
Both games are due out across the three systems in Europe sometime during 2006, and you can find more details, screenshots and whatnot by typing the words "Viewtiful Joe" into our game search.

Obviously there'll be a power bar and when it's full you can activate it. Whether the opposing player benefits or freezes during these power up I couldn't say. Maybe the player with the most power has the choice. The game doesn't sound that exciting to me.
