Cast announced for Suffering 2
Includes him off The Green Mile.
Midway has announced that Hollywood film actors Michael Clarke Duncan and Rachel Griffiths are to voice characters in forthcoming PC, PS2 and Xbox sequel The Suffering: Ties That Bind.
Duncan is best known for his leading role in The Green Mile and also appeared in Armageddon and Planet of the Apes. He will play dastardly villain Caleb Blackmore in the game.
(MCD trivia part 1: Michael used to be a bodyguard for the likes of Will Smith, LL Cool J and Notorious B.I.G., but quit after he took the night off and B.I.G. ended up getting shot. MCD trivia part 2: Michael apparently gives five dollars to anyone who recognises him on the street and knows his full name.)
Griffiths starred in Muriel's Wedding and TV drama Six Feet Under, and won a best supporting actress award for her performance in Hilary and Jackie. She will play the lovely Jordan in Ties that Bind.
(Griffiths trivia part 1: Rachel ran topless through the Melbourne Crown Casino to protest against its opening. When asked why by local journalists, she replied: "If I didn't flash my tits, you wouldn't put have put me in the paper." Griffiths trivia part 2: Rachel has a son called Banjo.)
The Suffering: Ties That Bind sees you playing as troubled hero Torque once again as he explores Baltimore's decaying prisons and grotty slums. He's still experiencing those pesky flashbacks and trying not to go completely mental, and must battle a whole new range of dodgy characters and weird-looking creatures as he fights to avenge his family.
Torque can transform into a giant demon-like creature who becomes more brutal and bloodthirsty depending on the choices you make, and the gameplay has been revamped to feature a streamlined inventory, enhanced control system, better enemy AI and a bigger arsenal of weapons.
The Suffering: Ties That Bind is due out this autumn.
