B.C. development suspended
But it might come back some day.
Lionhead has suspended development of ambitious prehistoric action-adventure B.C. for reasons unknown. Commenting on the suspension, managing director Peter Molyneux said the company hoped the game could be revived "at a later date", and added that the Guildford-based developer intended to retain as many members of the B.C. team as possible.
B.C. had been in development exclusively for Xbox at Lionhead satellite studio Intrepid Games, and despite its obvious ambition - the idea was to guide the evolution of a small tribe as they learnt to survive in the harsh face of nature - had seemed to be well on track. Speaking to Eurogamer earlier this year, the developer even admitted it had "plans for a feature rich multiplayer sequel for future development".
"The decision to suspend work on any games project is always a very difficult one, particularly when it is a title with the potential of B.C.," Molyneux said in a statement released on the developer's LHTimes.com website. "We hope to revive the project at a later date and will endeavour to assign as many of the team as possible to other Lionhead projects."

No it most certainly doesn't. It's like selling your soul to the devil. Only this devil loves money even more than sticking forks up bottoms.

Such a shame about BC, was the game i was looking forward to the most on xbox - it also seems rather late in the life cycle to cancel it, with a sequel semi-confirmed and so forth.
maybe they're going to move it over to xbox2,
