MGS4 trailer at Leipzig News

PlayStation 2 PSP DS PlayStation 3
News by Tom Bramwell

25 July, 2006

Hideo Kojima's internal Konami studio, Kojima Productions, will be out in force at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, next month - with five new games to show off.

These include Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on PlayStation 3, for which we're promised "a spectacular video trailer", as well as new PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

MGS fans will also get the chance to check out Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence in person, ahead of its release this October on PS2. It's been out in the US for (ahem) some time now.

Elsewhere, the PSP Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel will be around, as well as Kojima Productions' DS title Lunar Knights, which will be playable.

Having played with solar panels in his Boktai GBA series, this time Kojima's including a "digital climate", where the top screen simulates real weather.

We'll be bringing you our thoughts on all of those and others at Leipzig during the show's run between August 23rd and 27th. Providing we leave the Konami stand at least - they'll have Pro Evolution Soccer on Xbox 360, too.

Can't wait to see the hopefully next gneration Pro Evo and not just and up-port from the PS2 version.

And i've read somewhere the Hideo always shows off the first playable version of a new MGS the same year it gets released, so i guess this will be a new trailer.

We'd really like to see that actual game now, Mr Kojima. Enough with the cut-scenes, eh?

C'mon man, you & I both know the reason Europe gets games late is because they have to translate them for other languages too.
Only reason it seems unfair to us is because we happen to speak the same language as our cousins across the pond.

We always seem have to wait for the good stuff here in Europe :(

The thing I most want to see from this show is the 360 version of Pro Evo ;)

P.s. I dont speak English as a first language, and games are never translated in Icelandic :) So why should I wait? I wish they would release games in the U.K at the same time as in the U.S. Then We who wanted could buy them and the rest could wait.
