BloodRayne to appear topless in Playboy

Next month: Ms. Pac-Man when she was young and needed the money.

With the BloodRayne movie gathering more and more momentum, publisher Majesco has hit on a novel way to guide gamers' eyes back towards the forthcoming videogame sequel BloodRayne 2, which is due out on PS2, Xbox and PC later this year: heroine Rayne is going to go topless in the October issue of Playboy.

"If you felt teased by her sexy Girls of Gaming cover, then this new feature art is going to blow your mind!" the official website opines this week. "Rayne is 100% topless and smokin' hot in the October issue of Playboy magazine. This is a first in videogame history and trust us when we say that Rayne does not disappoint."

Apparently the offending issue of Playboy should be at newsagents in the US in early September, and we wouldn't be too surprised if poor old Rayne winds up scanned and tossed on the web somewhere before long either. Which is fabulous news for any pixel perverts in the audience, and yet another argument for girlfriends and wives who think our medium is all about sex and violence and would rather we just mowed the lawn.
