According to Rockstar.

Following the emergence of "leaked" screenshots purporting to be from the first PS3 GTA game - complete with all manner of naked bits and naughty business - Rockstar has issued Eurogamer with a fervent denial that the pics are anything to do with them.

Internet reports have implied that Rockstar deliberately released the screenshots in a bid to stir up controversy - but the publisher told us such reports were "inaccurate."

"I'm not sure where they got that information from, but it is patently false," a spokesperson said. That's that then.

But you can't blame our old friend Internet reports for thinking Rockstar might be trying to wind a few people up - after all, the publisher recently sent Miami-based lawyer and scofflaw-eater Jack Thompson into a right old frenzy with spoof website Citizens United Negating Technology. Rumours that the steam has stopped coming out of his ears now have yet to be confirmed.

Actually, its more down to the fact the modder changed the texture and included a nipple.. which as far as the americuns are concerned, is the most disgusting thing anyone can ever see (despite every human, male or famale) on the planet having them..

I think the americun (sic) argument is, that if you give a man a bassball bat and put him out on the street, a person would have to be a bit loopy to go around killing people with it randomly (regardless of how many films/games he's seen). Put same man naked in a room full of naked women.. and see what happens.

Anyone know if Jack Thompson has attacked God of War yet? He seems to be slightly obsessed with Rockstar all the time. Maybe Rockstar turned him down in some way or another. I think there's a lot more sex and violence in God of War ...duuuh, it's ancient mythology, what do you expect?

Not in the US, it doesn't. All 'sexual' content has been removed for the American release.

Anyway, this is most definitely the first I've heard of these 'controversial' pictures. Are you sure Rockstar aren't just making the entire story up?

gta is a CRIME SIMULATOR free form LIVING CITY game not just a game this means you can do ANYTHING you WANT in it, and sureley by anything you want I mean stealing cars and killing. The pics were made up. Nothing was ever released. Its all fake! There never were sex pics. *sigh*
