Now available for download.

Ubisoft has released a playable demo of Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood, now available for download from the game's website.

The demo includes a solo map with close quarter mission, a skirmish map playable solo or co-operatively via LAN, and a few bonus features such as pics, biographies and historical documents.

The PC version of Brothers In Arms Earned In Blood is out on October 6, with PS2 and Xbox versions due to follow on October 28.

The first of this series on XB was a pretty nice game. Some good squad tactic type stuff, but in open outdoor environments (I have a particular soft spot for games that are set outdoors, not sure why).

I agree with Koala i also like games with outdoor bits for some reason....

Maybe it's just my PS2 but I prefer indoor stuff 'cause they hardly ever get the trees and grass and stuff right. BIA was above average, though.

You know there is a Half Life 2 mod on the way that allows co-op over LAN right?

I think there is a Half Life 1 version available right now.
