Brain Age, Super Mario delayed

But only in US, and not by much.

Bad news for our American friends and import fans - two highly anticipated Nintendo DS titles have been delayed over in the States.

New Super Mario Bros. will now be arriving a week late, on May 15th. Big Brain Academy has also been delayed from late May to June 5th.

But have no fear, Europeans - a Nintendo spokesperson told us that the release dates "have been moved in the US only". Not that they've announced official dates for the games over here, mind, but at least that means we should still be on track to get New Super Mario Bros. and Big Brain Academy early this summer.

    Super Mario delayed...

    /dies of shock and sorrow

Big Brain Academy isn't the same thing as Brain Age.. Brain Age is Brain Training in Europe. I think Big Brain Academy is target more at kids than Brain Age/Training. Or something.

I reckon they've delayed it a week to stop half the games industry taking a copy home while in the States for E3...

"I reckon they've delayed it a week to stop half the games industry taking a copy home while in the States for E3... "

More likely the news of the release being lost in the swamp of E3 news regarding Revo/ps3/etc

Is it just me, or are you getting embarassingly predictable, smelly? You know that the world is actually not a conspiracy against Nintendo, don't you? Funny how you call the people you're trying to make fun of "fanboys" when you're actually the biggest fanboy of them all.

I for one would appreciate it if you could start making relevant comments for a change. What the hell does "omg nintendo suxorz" has to do with anything? It's not funny, it's not clever, it's just boring, and getting on my nerves.

No, it's the forum posters who post on every single mario/nintendo thread which are getting predictable, which was my point?

I for one would appreciate it if you could start making relevant comments for a change.

Erm, have you read any of my other posts? I'm guessing not, and subsequently if I were you i'd shut up, before you make a bigger FOOL of yourself. It was a joke, aimed to stop idiots posting in here before they even started.

But, if you want a RELEVANT comment, read the post above yours (for example).

you're actually the biggest fanboy of them all

Yip, as i've already clarified in another thread. I'm a huge fan of nintendo games, and i'm also a huge fan of sqauresofts games. I dont see this as a bad thing. Both continue to make quality products which i want to play, why should i be a fan?

Being a "fan" isnt a problem, If i was a "fanboy" (used in the detremental sense) i'd be flaming threads on other companies games saying they suck, etc.. Which strangely enough happens every time nintendo is mentioned.

But you're right, i am against people saying any games developer sucks, for example if you look at my post earlier pointing out that 6/10 doesnt mean the godfather sucks. Just because I stuck up for that, does that make me a EA fanboy?

    *sigh*

It was a joke, aimed to stop idiots posting in here before they even started.

    Well, it wasn't funny.

I'm in no doubt that you're a fine bloke and that you're able to discuss other topics, such as EA, with some distance to the subject matter, but as for Nintendo stuff, I just get bored of listening to you. Seems you have to make your point about "there being nothing wrong with childish games as long as they are fun" just about everywhere it's at all possible to squeeze it in, and I'm a bit tired of it by now. It's OK when the thread is actually about those themes, but when it's not at all, such as in this case, I don't see why you have to drag it in.

Ahem, this thread is about the New Super Mario Bros., so he's not exactly "dragging it in". Although I would tend to agree smelly gets easily annoyed by a vocal minority.

Okay, back on topic, and ignoring my post (which I still say if i hadnt put up, we'd now have a thread full of idiots slagging off mario, as opposed to a thread full of me explaining why i posted that):

I reacon the delay is due to being worried that the news of the release of these games will be lost in the swamp of E3 news regarding Revo/ps3/etc
