ParaWorld multiplayer demo
You can win five grand, too.
SUNFLOWERS and SEK have taken a break from piling enormous objects on their capslock keys and released a demo of forthcoming real-time strategy title ParaWorld.
This demo includes a single-player tutorial in "Viking Park" but is predominantly focused on multiplay, with a pair of skirmish maps available for 2-4 players and norsemen and dustrider tribes to try out.
Both maps are playable in deathmatch and domination modes, and the companies advise anybody interested that the official website, MySkulls.com, will be running a multiplayer demo challenge next month, with up to EUR 5000 prize money available.
On top of that, if you venture to the Leipzig Games Convention this week you'll also get the chance to play the game, which is published by Deep Silver and due out on September 15th.

Demo is ok, but very much by the numbers. I don't really like the graphical style though. Units take ages to die though, so you'll have battles taking forever (in RTS standards). Maybe that'll allow for some tactical finesse, I haven't played it very long.
