Videogame legend Sid Meier is heading to London next Friday - and if you get yourself down to HMV Oxford Street, you can meet the man himself.

Sid will be in the store on November 25 from 1pm - 3pm, signing copies of his latest hit PC strategy title, Civilization 4. You don't need tickets or anything - just turn up on the day.

Sid Meier, for those who don't know, is the man behind blockbuster series Sid Meier's Civilization, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Sid Meier's SimGolf. He is rivalled only by Tom Clancy as the man who has his name in the most game titles, with Archer Maclean trailing well behind in third.

Civilization 4 is out now.
